AIM Festival Weekend Approaches & We’re Getting Excited! [ + Timeslots ]

They say third time’s a charm, a sentiment truly felt as summer is now in full effect in anticipation in this year’s edition of AIM Festival. Yes that’s right, the solstice has now past and the days are teeming with energy. Since 2015, music lovers from our neck of the woods have gathered about one hour away from Montreal in Parc Carillon Saint-André at the site of  a major Hydroelectric dam that electrifies mind, body, and spirit. For 32 hours straight, the AIM team commits to you and assembles non-stop music for everyone. In addition, you can have access to camping on the same grounds. We’ve made countless lovely memories from the past years. I personally have been fortunate the be able to attend each year and observe how every time festival organizers and a team of absolute innovators bring global acts to the masses.

This year we have the great pleasure of witnessing amazing artists such as :  Âme, Anabel EnglundBehrouz, Dennis FerrerGuy J, Guy Mantzur, Henrik Schwarz, Honey Dijon, John Talabot, Lee Foss, Lee Jones, Manfredas, Nastia, Nic Fanciulli, Peter Power, Tiefschwarz & many more. The festival officially starts on Friday night with a pre-party until 4:00 in the morning following up with a film hosted inside the camp from of our pals at FrontRite that will be hosting and projecting it under the stars. Drink and smoke at your leisure with friends on the pasture before the rest of the weekend.

Saturday morning, the festival begins, launching us adventurers into the experience we’ve all been eager to partake in. As the night goes on, the visual artist have prepared some spectacular mind-boggling installations in the center of the grounds for a impressive nocturnal visual effect. The whole scene will go on until 17:00 the next day. We can’t wait to see what the place will be like this year as every time this festival comes around there is something magical in the air filling us with wonderful ideas.

By far, the bloom of all the stages is the one organized by the Multi Culti crew. Anyone who is from here can relate to their eccentric and full spectrum style of doing things. It’s not techno is not house it’s not anything you can even begin to describe, you may only partake in the experience brought to you by Mr. Thomas Von Party and accompanying acts. The downtempo vibe causes a sense of relief and willingness to let your spirit free.
