If you ski or snowboard in Almaty, then you have probably heard about Elevation parties, which regularly take place at the highest points of local ski resorts. Started in 2016 as a small gathering of music enthusiasts, we eventually grew into a full-scale Apres-Ski musical event, as the aesthetics of ski resorts attract not only winter sports fans but also adherents of outdoors and music.
On May 30th we welcomed Canadian-Egyptian electronic live duo Husa & Zeyada. The delivered one of the most energetic performances of the festival, the duo blended powerful vocals, analog synthesizers, and driving rhythms into a captivating live show that often felt closer to a rock concert than a traditional electronic set.
Balancing emotional songwriting with dancefloor energy, Husa & Zeyada took the audience on a journey through hypnotic grooves, cinematic melodies, and explosive live improvisation. Their performance was both intimate and electrifying, leaving a lasting impression on everyone gathered beneath the mountains that evening.
